Celestial foxes inhabit the gnarly old growth trees in the oldest parts of the Arach Forest. They are expert climbers and in some areas with denser patches of Fox Heart Trees there are some individuals that spend their entire lives without ever touching paws to the ground.
They do not go out of their way to avoid other canine species, but their arboreal lifestyle makes it so that there are few instances when they encounter other species.
As a group they tend to be very lackadaisical, taking life as it is and finding amusement in it regardless of what happens to be happening at any given time. They are somewhat lazy, spending a good portion of their time lounging about in the branches of their trees, telling stories or sleeping.
Their coats are colored along any gradient from dusk to dawn, from deep blue, to purple, to black, to pink, to coral, to orange, with various star marking coverage. It does not serve any camouflage purpose, it seems to be more a result of their inactive lifestyle and selective breeding.
